NOTICE OF POLLING DAY
Notice is hereby given to all members of the Mauritius Family Planning and Welfare Association (MFPWA) that the election of Chairperson and five (5) Other Members of the Committee of the said association for the period 2025-2027 will be held on Saturday 12th July 2025 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Office of the Electoral Commissioner, 9th floor, Max City Building, cnr. Remy Ollier and Louis Pasteur Streets, PortLouis and that the candidates are as follows:-

On Nomination Day, there being only one(1) candidate for the one (1) seat to be filled in for Treasurer, the undermentioned candidate will be declared elected on polling day, that is, on 12 July 2025-

On Nomination Day, there being only two(2) candidates for the two (2) seats to be filled in for the Youth Representatives, the undermentioned candidates will be declared elected on polling day, that is, on 12 July 2025-

DIRECTIONS TO VOTERS
1. When applying for a ballot paper every elector MUST produce either his/her National Identity Card or passport, failing which he/she will NOT be authorised to vote.
2. Each elector will be issued with a ballot paper and will be required to vote for not more than the number of candidates specified hereunder by putting a cross (x) opposite the name(s) of the candidate(s) of his/her choice- Category: Chairperson One (1) candidate to be elected Category: Other Members Five (5) candidates to be elected
3. If an elector votes for MORE candidates than the number aforementioned or places any mark or writing on the ballot paper by which he/she could afterwards be identified, his /her vote(s) will be void and will not be counted.
